Description New 2025

Songbirds Through the Lens and Leaves: Davis Creek Trail. Do you struggle to get the right photo of birds in a floral scene? Join award winning photographer Elizabeth Moon as she takes you birding along the Farmington mountainside. Liz will help you learn to not only see and identify birds but learn how to set yourself up for the best possible shots at small songbirds with a bright background of yellow wildflowers. Warblers, hummingbirds, buntings, and gnatcatchers are all to be found on the foothills, but difficult to capture with a camera. Bring your camera or even just binoculars, put on your hiking shoes, and learn how to put yourself in the best position for capturing your own great shots.
