Description

"Digiscoping" is a method of telephoto photography, often used by placing the lens of a digital camera (such as a cell phone) to the eyepiece of a spotting scope or binoculars to take photos. Join guides Max Malmquist and Logan Knaphus on this in-the-field workshop to practice digiscoping techniques. Participants will experience the Eccles Wildlife Education Center, a well known hotspot for shorebirds, waterfowl and other waterbirds, to practice digiscoping as a way to capture photos and videos of birds.

*Phone Skope products will be demonstrated on this trip to show you just how easy it is to enhance your outdoor photography experience. Each participant will receive a Phone Skope adapter and phone case to use during the trip and keep for future personal digiscoping use. Product valued at $100+. During registration participants must provide their phone and optic make and model to ensure proper product fit. Phone Skope products will be handed out at the start of the field trip.
