Learn about and see the unique species and habitats of our foothills and benches along the Wasatch Front. See an abandoned Bank Swallow colony, discuss habitat loss in our communities, and hike the area where nature had the opportunity to reclaim itself and learn the history of this unique park. Likely species would include Lazuli Bunting, Black-chinned Hummingbird, Black-headed Grosbeak, Bullock’s Oriole, Chukar, California Quail, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Chipping Sparrow, Spotted Towhee and other migrants.
