Diamond Fork Canyon encompasses a wide diversity of habitats including montane forest, sagebrush, scrub oak, juniper forest, wetland marsh, river, and redrock cliff habitat in which a wide diversity of bird species may be found. Possible bird sightings include: Western Tanager, Lazuli Bunting, Mountain Bluebird, Belted Kingfisher, Woodhouse's Scrub-jay, Plumbeous Vireos, MacGillivray's, Orange-crowned, and Yellow Warblers, Golden Eagle (possibly on a nest), Canyon, Marsh, and House Wrens, and White-throated Swifts. Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and lunch.
