We love her, but she doesn't get the attention she needs since all our teenagers have grown up and left the house. - crystal was born in sandy, summer 2016, and we've owned her since she was a pup. Father was a king charles spaniel (pure breed with papers) and mother was an australian shepherd (pure breed with papers), and crystal’s litter was the result of an accidental coupling. - she's gone on long runs with us since she was a pup. She loves to run even now, and enjoys the mountains as well as neighborhood runs. In her younger days, she was frequently a "sled-dog" to a daring teenager on a skateboard. - she has experience as a working animal, and protected farm animals from foxes, raccoons, rats ect. She comes in at night in the winter, but tends to enjoy staying outside in fair weather. Malak is an absolute sweetheart who loves to cuddle, super energetic and would thrive with a place to run around and people who love to spend time with him. Unfortunately he has some flaws. A couple years back he was attacked by another dog and ever since then he hasn't been very great around other dogs. He has been to obedience training and it has worked wonders and can now be taken for walks and with some corrective commands it's no longer really an issue. The big issue is he doesn't seem to know what to do around kids. I now have a son and no matter what i've tried he doesn't seem to know what to do around kids. He simply seems gets too anxious and is fixates on little kids in general and exhibits some truly weird behavior. I want to note he has not once ever attacked a child, but it's just not a dog my wife and i feel comfortable having around my son. It's also not fair to him to have to be locked up any time my son is running around playing. I cannot reiterate this enough, he has never attacked a child. He is such a sweet soul and it breaks my heart to have to let him go. His ideal home would probably be one with out young children (mine is 2), he could be okay with other dogs once he gets to know them. It's worth noting he is not the only dog in my house and he is perfectly friendly with him.
